Land Ownership Milestone: 96 Police Officers Receive Land Documents

Ninety six police officers were handed over land documents putting them on the way to becoming first time land owners.  The law-enforcement officials were given the approval to purchase their land parcels.  According to the Minister of Home Affairs, Kareem Musa, the initiative is a part of the welfare program for police officers.

The land program for cops is a collaboration with the Belize Police Association and the Ministries of Home Affairs and Natural Resources.
