Minister of Lands, Cordel Hyde has been marked absent surrounding several land issues arising around the country. According to lands activist, Nigel Petillo he has made numerous attempts in getting a meeting and/or conversation with Minister Hyde but his requests have gone unanswered. Petillo has been working on getting first-time land owners a parcel of land to either construct a home or to conduct farming. After not getting a response from the minister, Petillo took to social media last week expressing outrage at the minister’s absence and reminding him of the promises he made prior to last November’s elections. Dale McDougall has more on this story.
