Lane Closure at Lord’s Bank Junction to Cause Delays Through May

Motorists traveling along the Philip Goldson Highway are being advised to prepare for delays as a one-lane closure is set to take effect at the Lord’s Bank junction in Ladyville.  The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) has announced that the temporary traffic change will run from April 21 to May 22. The closure forms part of ongoing works under the highway expansion and rehabilitation project between Mile 8 and 25.  According to the Ministry, the closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of a cross culvert in the area, as construction activity intensifies in Ladyville.  Drivers are being urged to exercise extreme caution when passing through the zone. Flag personnel will be stationed on site to manage traffic flow, and motorists are advised to follow all posted signs, reduce speed, and comply with instructions to ensure the safety of both workers and road users.
