LPG Prices Decrease Following Drop in Acquisition Costs

Today, the price per gallon of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) – the gas you cook with – registered a six cents decrease. The Supplies Control Unit in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise says the price increase, attributed to a drop in acquisition cost, took effect last night at midnight. The import wholesale price everywhere is $3.82 per gallon. The retail prices in the villages are $1.26 per pound or $4.16 per gallon. In the cities and towns, the retail price is $1.32 per pound or $5.76 per gallon. In the rural area, the retail prices in the villages are $1.26 per pound or $5.86 per gallon.
