In May 2021, Love News brought you the inspiring story of Lupus patient Nakisha Usher. Her story garnered thousands of likes, hundreds of supporting comments and more than four hundred and forty thousand views on Facebook. Tonight, we have an update and unfortunately, it’s not good. The retired police officer says that she is going through a hellish experience after being admitted at the KHMH in Belize City. It’s a frightening story causing Usher to have sleepless nights and many days of crying. Usher told Love News that it all started with a blister on her left foot and a visit to the KHMH where she met two young doctors who kept cutting off pieces of her foot day after day.
Usher says that her ordeal became scarier after she saw one of the doctors using Google to figure out how to handle the matter. She says her trust level immediately plummeted and she decided to discharge herself.
Usher worries that her foot might have to be amputated and says she has been unable to sleep for days.
