Maclovio Ack Wins PUP Mayoral Nomination for Punta Gorda

The People’s United Party has selected a new mayoral candidate for Punta Gorda. Twenty-eight-year-old educator Maclovio Ack secured the nomination after defeating incumbent Mayor Carlos “Obeah” Galvez and former mayor Francis “Doc” Arzu Senior at Sunday’s convention. Ack will now lead the PUP slate into the March 2027 municipal elections. Susselie Sho reports.
