Thirty-four-year-old Lolman Logan is a free man after being acquitted of a charge of murder earlier today. LoGAN, who is originally from the Corozal district, appeared in the High Court of Belize before Justice Ricardo O’Neil Sandcroft. Logan was charged with the murder of Christopher Meighan which occurred on September 27, 2018. During his trial, Logan reiterated the caution statement he gave to police on the night of the incident, that Meighan was murdered by another man and that he was only trying to help. Police had arrested and charged Rufino Hernandez in connection with the murder, but the charge against him was later withdrawn.
