Man Charged with Manslaughter in Fatal Chop Wound Incident in Santa Elena Town

Police have formally arrested and charged 43-year-old Peter Demetrio August for the crime of manslaughter in connection with the death of 61-year-old Ubaldo Ernesto Guzman Sr. The incident occurred on Thursday, September 12 at Guzman’s residence on Andrews Street in Santa Elena Town, Cayo District. According to police reports, the altercation that led to Guzman’s death took place around 10:30pm and resulted in Guzman receiving fatal chop wounds.
