Man falls off tractor and dies after suffering a heart attack

Over the weekend, a man died after he suffered a heart attack and fell from a moving tractor. On Saturday afternoon, the body of Carlos Aguilar Juarez was discovered in an area some three miles west of Fireburn Village. Juarez was found lying on the right side of the street next to a tractor, which had run off the road. His body had several bruises on the back of his head and back. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Hilberto Romero, says that investigators believe Juarez’s death was not the result of foul play.

ACP Hilberto Romero, Officer Commanding Eastern Division: “Orange Walk police visited an area in the Fire Burn area of Orange Walk where they saw a male person lying face up apparently motionless. The person was identified as Carlos Juarez, driver of Orange Walk. Initial investigation is that a person was in the area when he came across a tractor that had ran off the road and Carlos Juarez was seen motionless. The body was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. A post mortem has been conducted on this person.”

Reporter: What information was relayed to the police after that post mortem ?

ACP Hilberto Romero, Officer Commanding Eastern Division: “The information we got is that he died from heart complications.”

Reporter: Okay so it was a case of maybe he was driving the tractor, had a heart attack and then died ?

ACP Hilberto Romero, Officer Commanding Eastern Division: “Yes that is what we’re suspecting, correct.”
