Man Fined for Aggravated Assault and Threatening Words

Thirty-year-old Stephen Flowers Jr was fined today after pleading guilty to one count of aggravated assault and one count of threatening words. Flowers was charged in connection with an altercation he had on Monday, September 4, with taxi driver Earl Smith. Smith told the court he was sorry for his actions and pleaded for leniency. He was fined six hundred and five dollars for the aggravated assault along with two hundred and five dollars for the threatening words. He has until November 30 to pay the six hundred dollar fine and October 31 for the two hundred dollar fine.
