No arrests have yet been made in connection with last night’s shooting in Hattieville Village in the Belize District. Just before nine last night, 31-year-old Dorian Garnett was walking towards his home in the Windmill Area of the village when the gunman approached and fired shots at him. The maintenance worker sustained a wound to the upper part of the left hand, under the ribcage and his left shoulder. He was taken to the KHMH for treatment. Love News spoke to residents of the area, who told us that they were surprised he was shot because Garnett was not known to participate in any criminal activity nor did he have any known connections to any gangs.
