An employee at Legal Aid is recovering from injuries sustained in a traffic incident this morning in Belize City. 26-year-old Rodrick Frederick Wade who resides in the Belama area was on his motorbike on Albert Hoy Avenue when a van drove passed a stop sign, slamming Wade into an oncoming vehicle. Video surveillance of the incident shows Wade being flung off his bike and onto the bumper of another vehicle. Residents and passersby gathered for more than an hour while the ambulance took an estimated forty-five minutes to respond to the scene. Wade complained of back pain and had injuries to the face. Love News understands that the delay in the ambulance’s response is because there was no driver available. According to his family, he was admitted into the KHMH in a stable condition.
