A man was chopped and killed by his nephew in the Cayo District. Police say yesterday morning they responded to an incident at mile seven in Progresso Village in the Cayo District. They were told the victim, 42-year-old Israel Tesecum had been transported to the San Ignacio Hospital. The reports are that Israel and his parents were eating inside the kitchen when his nephew, 25-year-old Bartimeus Tesecum entered and chopped him behind his head. Tesecum was later transported to the Western Regional Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries.
