Man knocked down by “dalla van” taken to court

Raymond Dyer is the man who was knocked down by a dalla van yesterday on Orange Street in Belize City.  Today, Dyer appeared at the courthouse, not because he is pressing charges against the driver, but because he is being charged for obscene words to a police officer.  Our court reporter met up with Dyer when he came out of the courtroom.  Dyer says he feels that he is being treated unfairly.

It is interesting to note that no charges have been levied against the driver of the dalla van, up to news time tonight.
