Man missing in Corozal District, family receives call

Police have moved swiftly launching an investigation into the report of a missing man from San Narciso Village in the Corozal District. This follows a report they received from the individuals family in which they stated that someone had called them after their family member mysteriously disappeared. While police did not go into details of the case, ACP Myvette gave the media an overview of what has happened.

ACP Joseph Myvette, Head National CIB: On yesterday’s date one Homero Campus 43 year old businessman of San Narciso Village left his home en route to his farm to do work and up to the time of yesterday evening he had not returned home. His family had received a phone call and the Police have since initiated and investigation into his whereabouts. Police are conducting searches along with family members within the area to see whether or not he could be located and indeed yes a call was made to the Police Department yesterday concerning that Mr. Campus is missing.

Reporter: Has a ransom request been made?

Police say Campos is not known to police.
