Man Remanded to Belize Central Prison in Connection with Shooting

A Belize City man has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison, after beign charged in connection with a shooting. Thirty-seven-year-old Charles Leslie, appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court today, charged with one count of dangerous harm and one count of use of deadly means of harm upon twenty-two-year-old, Jaheem Lawrence. Due to the nature of the offenses, bail was denied and Leslie was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until November 24. The shooting occurred on September 17.
