Man Sentenced for Illegal Firearms Possession: Three-Year Term Imposed

A Maskall Villager has been sentenced to prison after being found with two illegal firearms. Thirty-one-year-old Dennis Morgan appeared in court charged with two counts of kept unlicensed firearms and immediately pleaded guilty. The Magistrate took into account his early guilty plea and the fact that he has no previous convictions for the same offense, and sentenced him to three years for each count. However, since the sentences will run concurrently, he will only spend a total of three years. Morgan was arrested on Friday, August 11, after police saw him throwing away a firearm which was later recovered. They searched him and also found another one in the waist of his pants.
