Man shot by police soon to undergo surgery to remove bullet

The family of 25-year-old Jordy Usher are raising funds for their son’s surgery to remove the bullet that is lodged behind his nose. According to the family Usher is currently admitted at the Medical Associates Hospital.

The family of 25-year-old Jordy Usher are raising funds for their son’s surgery to remove the bullet that is lodged behind his nose. According to the family Usher is currently admitted at the Medical Associates Hospital. Tomorrow he undergoes one of three surgeries to remove the bullet. Margarita Hyde, Mother of Jordy Usher, stated that the surgery will cost a substantial amount of money which they will need assistance to pay.

Margarita Hyde, Mother of Jordy Usher: ““At this moment my family is trying to gather together but it won’t be enough, we’ll probably have a dollar day drive on Saturday. The cost of the surgery is $16,500. At this moment he is admitted at the Medical Associates, one of the surgeries is supposed to be tomorrow at two. He has his jaw broken, his nose bone is broken but that was going to be another one but the bullet needs to be removed. Well currently he’s speaking, he’s eating but a part of your nose that is inside your head that is full of blood and pus that also needs to be drained tomorrow so they will be removing the bullet and draining the –  I forget how the doctor called the thing but it’s the part of your nose inside.”

Usher was shot at on Saturday, November 30, when he was being pursued by Police. Police officers reported that they fired a warning shot which might have ricochet off the ground and hit Jordy Usher in the face. If you wish to help the family you can call his mother at 6048358.
