Eugene Tillett was not the only one shot on Ebony Street this week. On Tuesdy night, 28-year-old Linsford Baldwin was shot as he sat on the steps of his own home. Deputy Head of NCIB, Senior Superintendent Hilberto Romero, said they have a suspect in custody.
Sr.Superintendent Hilberto Romero, Deputy Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch: “On Tuesday, the first day of October 2019 at 8pm police responded to a report of a shooting incident on Ebony Street. Upon their arrival information was received that one person was shot and taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment. Police visited the hospital where they found Lindsford Baldwin suffering from one gunshot wound to the shoulder. At this time he is in a stable condition at the hospital, we are seeking on person in connection to this shooting incident.”
About four months ago, Baldwin’s brother, Lindon was killed on Ebony Street. His body was found on May 14, 2019 in a yard across from the Belchina UNO gas station.
