Man Stabbed While Walking Dog in Belize City; Suspect Weapon Recovered

A man was stabbed just before nine o’clock last night as he walked his dog on Partridge Street in Belize City.  31-year-old, Juan Rios, who lives near the crime scene, was walking when he got into a confrontation with one Mark Stevens.  The situation escalated when Rios was stabbed and transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.  Rios, a call center agent, underwent surgery and is in a stable condition.  Investigators have categorized the incident as a case of attempted murder.  Love News understands that weapon, suspected to have been used in the incident, has been recovered.
