Marage charged for unlawful sexual intercourse

An unemployed man was sent to prison today after he was charged with six counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and one count of grievous harm upon a minor. 

An unemployed man was sent to prison today after he was charged with six counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and one count of grievous harm upon a minor.  23-year-old Lyndon Marage of a West Canal address in Belize City is accused of engaging in unlawful sex with a 15-year-old on multiple occasions as recent as one week ago.  Marage appeared before Chief Magistrate Sharon Frazer.  No plea was taken from him and he was denied bail.  He is to reappear in court on March 20.  The allegations are that Marage engaged with the minor between September 2019 and January 14, 2020.  It also alleged that he caused grievous harm to the minor on September 21, 2019.
