Mary Ann Cleland’s Cause of Death Confirmed to be from stabbing
Police have confirmed that 30-year-old Willow’s Bank Village resident Mary Ann Cleland was stabbed to death. Cleland’s post-mortem examination concluded that her cause of death was “hypovolemic shock, internal and external exsanguination due to multiple stab wounds to the body.” Cleland, a mother of two was found dead on the roadside in Willow’s Bank by her husband, 52-year-old Emeterio ‘Lunx’ Reyes. Police detained Reyes for questioning, but he was later released. He told police that he arrived at their home and found his 18-month-old son on a rock in a pond near the house. He also said he found Cleland bloody with a neighbor’s assistance. To date, no charges have been levied in the woman’s murder.
