Mexico to Hold Multilateral Business Meeting in Early January

The Mexican Embassy in Belize held a press conference earlier today to inform Belizeans of a multilateral business meeting that will be held on January 26 to 29 in Cancun, Mexico. The meeting is scheduled to be held between representatives from Belize, Colombia, Panama, and Mexico and will focus on talks of investment and trade between the nations. And, according to Sergio Leon, President of the Mexican Employers’ Association (Comparex) the event will feature two hundred entrepreneurs, from fourteen different countries.

Also present at the meeting was Her Excellency Zamarripa Rivas, Mexico’s Ambassador to Belize who noted that quote “I would like to tell you that the reason for this press conference is to inform both the government and the people of Belize about a business round very relevant, probably the most important, since the pandemic began.” Unquote.
