“Mind, Body, and Soul: Economically Embodied.”

Promoting Empowerment through Awareness for Lesbian and Bisexual Women- (PETAL) is hoping to empower three hundred women by assisting them in blossoming into entrepreneurs. The organization has been awarded a grant from the United Nations Trust Fund to embark on a project aimed at empowering women through financial stability. Today, PETAL held its annual Women’s Forum under the theme “Mind, Body, and Soul: Economically Embodied.” Vejea Alvarez reports.
