Minister Orlando Habet Tours Belize to Improve Ministry Services

The Minister of Sustainable Development, Disaster Risk Management, and Climate Change, Orlando Habet, has embarked on a country-wide tour of his ministry’s various departments. The endeavor seeks to improve the services provided by the ministry’s units by allowing its members a one-on-one with the Minister. The team began the tour last week in the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve and continued today on Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker Village. Minister Habet spoke about the feedback he received and how it will benefit the country. 

Minister Habet added that his trip included visits to the solid waste transfer station on both islands and meeting with NEMO representatives. 

Habet says he is scheduled to continue the tour next week.
