Ministry of Agriculture Partners with Cooperative for Honey Producers

The Ministry of Agriculture has partnered with Sociedad Cooperativa Melitzaak to provide a manufacturing workshop for honey producers. Melitzaak is a cooperative based in Quintana Roo, Mexico, that focuses on the production of cosmetic and food products based on honey and beehive derivatives such as pollen, royal jelly and propolis. Registrar of Cooperatives, Gareth Murillo, spoke about the opportunities that the training can provide for the country.
