Ministry of Agriculture Partners with JICA to Educate Small Farmers on Marketing Strategies

The Ministry of Agriculture has partnered with the Japan International Cooperation Agency to educate small farmers on the importance of marketing. The organizations are hosting a five-day training on Smallholder Horticulture Empowerment and Promotion (SHEP). The program aims to empower smallholder farmers with market-oriented agricultural skills, focusing on horticulture crops. Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Victor Pasqual spoke to our newsroom about the endeavor. 

Participants are from various parts of the country.
