Ministry of Education frowns on schools sending students home over hair

On Monday we told you about the dozens of male students of Bishop Martin High School who were kicked out of the compound because of the length of their hair. After the story aired, public opinion was divided but today, the Ministry of Education made its position clear. In a release, the Ministry stated that should not stop children from attending classes because of the policies related to hair length. The Ministry concedes that schools can impose codes of conduct and general rules for proper administration, but students should not be out of school because of the length of their hair. Dale McDougall looks at the issue again tonight.
