Ministry of Education Supports Inclusion of Garifuna Language in Schools, Backs Battle of the Drums Secretariat

The Battle of the Drums Secretariat is looking forward to greater things in the southern community after getting a commitment of support from the Ministry of Education.  According to the President of the Secretariat, Darius Avila, the support comes via the approval and assistance in including the Garifuna language in five schools.  He noted that the language in schools is not the only initiative that Minister Francis Fonseca will be supporting.
