Belize has made a key step in revamping its national curricula from pre-school to secondary school. The Ministry of Education unveiled the framework under which the reforms will take place. But as Dale McDougall found out, it’s just the very first step in ensuring that students across the country learn key life skills.
With this framework, the Ministry hopes that the nation’s thousands of students see their values and principles shaped by qualities including unity in diversity, responsibility, equity and faith in God.
