In an effort to reduce the number of wildfires affecting the country, the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change, and  Disaster Risk Management is reminding the public of the dos and don’ts of the dry season. The ministry notes that during the season dry vegetation can become flammable and trigger a wildfire. The ministry and its departments are strongly recommending that if persons must burn during the dry season, all necessary precautions must be taken.
