Today, the Ministry of Youth condemned the acts of sexual assault allegedly committed by Red Bank Chairman Kenroy Cal, who is also a CARICOM Youth Ambassador. The ministry says that “The Ministry upholds a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any form of sexual violence, including rape. First and foremost, we extend our thoughts to the alleged victim affected.” The release goes on to say that the ministry is terminating Cal’s ambassadorial duties during the ongoing investigation to ensure that the focus remains on the integrity of the process and the well-being of all parties involved.
