Miss Universe Makes Brief Visit to Belize, Greeted with Warm Welcome

The reigning Miss Universe, R’Bonney Gabriel, made a brief visit to Belize today as the cruise ship she is on, docked in the country.  The American national was given a warm welcome this morning at the Fort Street Tourism Village just after eight o’clock.  The media was invited to speak with Gabriel, who was being accompanied by Miss Belize, Ashley Lightburn, as well as Ms Aruba and Ms El Salvador.

Lightburn represented Belize at the last Miss Universe pageant.  The next Miss Universe is set for November in El Salvador.
