Missing Man Carlos Casanova Found Dead After Ten-Day Search

Ten days after disappearing without a trace, the body of missing man Carlos Casanova was discovered on the outskirts of Orange Walk Town. Just after 7 o’clock, Casanova’s body was found in a bushy area about fifty feet off the San Antonio Road. Details surrounding the discovery are forthcoming, but our newsroom understands that Casanova lived near the area where he was found. His family says that at this time, investigators are uncertain whether Casanova was the victim of foul play or may have taken his own life. An autopsy is expected to be conducted today that will provide the police and Casanova’s family with more information. His family had been searching for him since he was last seen on February 8 in San Pedro Town.
