MOH expanding the number of tests being carried out for COVID-19

In today’s Ask the Expert, the Director of Health Services, Dr. Marvin Manzanero explained that they are expanding the number of tests being carried out for COVID-19.  He explained that even health care workers who are displaying flu symptoms as well as random testing for frontline workers.

In today’s Ask the Expert, the Director of Health Services, Dr. Marvin Manzanero explained that they are expanding the number of tests being carried out for COVID-19.  He explained that even health care workers who are displaying flu symptoms as well as random testing for frontline workers.

A total of 35 tests were done yesterday which all proved negative for COVID-19.  Among those tested so far include Belize City Mayor, Bernard Wagner and Minister of Health, Pablo Marin.  Currently, the Ministry of Health has seven hundred and thirty-two test kits on hand and are awaiting an order of fifteen thousand more.
