MOH says you can have Covid-19 and not know

For weeks since the discovery of the novel coronavirus, health officials have been screening for symptoms at border points around the world.  In a new recent development, however, it has been found that you could have the novel virus and have no symptons.  A release from the Ministry of Health refers to new studies that indicate that individuals who may not be showing symptoms of coronavirus could still be infected and have an unknown source of infection. Health regions have been advised to identify and prepare isolation areas within health facilities although not all cases may require in-hospital management. All regions have been asked to continue training in terms of management of the disease. The MOH is monitoring the global situation in relation to COVID-19, which has now spread to 34 countries outside mainland China. While the World Health Organization and Center for Disease Control have reported a decrease in the number of cases in mainland China, particularly in the Wuhan province, it is anticipated that the number of cases outside China will continue to rise. The Ministry is recommending against non-essential travel to China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Iran, Italy, and Japan. This is likely to change as the situation evolves.
