Dr. Melissa Diaz-Musa, Director of Public Health & Wellness: “The COVID situation remains more or less the same. We have numbers daily averaging from 150 – 200, 250. Remember the positivity rate is based on the number of tests that are being done. So we do, yesterday, the positivity rate was 18.9% with 185 new cases. We’re working with COVAX and as well bilaterally with other countries to try to procure some more of the Pfizer adult vaccines so that we can restart the booster campaign and even for persons who have not been vaccinated as yet as well.”
