30-year-old Jude Moody was remanded to prison today after pleading guilty to dangerous harm. Justice Marilyn Williams remanded Moody and deferred sentencing to March 5. Allegations are that Moody attacked Ivan Hyde and chopped him to the left side of his neck and left arm with a machete on May 11, 2018. On January 21, Moody pleaded guilty to the charge and was scheduled to be sentenced two days later. He skipped out on his sentencing and did not show up to court until this morning. For failure to return as ordered by the court, this morning, Justice Marilyn Williams revoked his bail and remanded him to the Belize Central Prison until March 5.
