Mother and Daughter in Belize City Lose Their Home to Fire

Another fire on Sunday morning in the Faber’s Road area of Belize City left a mother and daughter displaced. The blaze broke shortly after ten o’clock and resulted in fire personnel being called out to the scene. The team was able to extinguish the blaze and prevented it from fanning out, however, the home where the fire started was completely destroyed. Supervisor at the National Fire Service Kenneth Mortis says the fire was caused by an illegal electricity connection.
