Motorbike Collision with SUV Injures Two in Western Belize

Two persons were flung from a motorbike yesterday evening just before six o’clock after colliding into an SUV in western Belize.  Videos sent to our newsroom, show one of the riders under the SUV while another being hauled from the bushes nearby.  Love News understands that the incident occurred near mile 63 on the George Price Highway. According to reports, 23-year-old, Esperanza Carreas and 18-year-old, Anthony Perez were on a Kawasaki motorcycle when they collided into a white Toyota Land Cruiser being driven by 80-year-old, Lourdes Hales.  The pair was flung to the pavement and later transported to the hospital for medical treatment.  Carreas sustained injuries to both arms while Perez suffered a broken foot and abrasions to both arms.  Meanwhile, Hales complained of abrasions to the left knee, pain to right side of the head and the right eye.  Correspondent Eliu Yacab spoke to an eyewitness who opted to remain anonymous.

All three persons have been treated and released for their injuries.
