The effects of climate change are still being revealed to vulnerable communities. Rising sea temperatures, unpredictable weather, loss of habitat, shoreline erosion, flooding, introduction of invasive fish species and access to potable water are some of the hazards that communities across the planet are dealing with already. Belize’s National Climate Change Office held a workshop about monitoring and other aspects of climate change in the capital today. Belmopan correspondent Pauline Soberanis Tillett reports.
