The Belmopan Show grounds have been known to only come to life during the annual agricultural and trade show in early May. This year, however, there will be some changes in the rodeo and produce section with the addition of a tilapia pond. Chief Agriculture Officer, Roberto Harrison spoke of this endeavor.
The project seeks to benefit the consumers of Belmopan with the idea of using the funds to continue improving the showgrounds. With this project, the grounds will be used all year round and will also see the addition of training sessions for aspiring farmers.
This project will officially began over the labor day weekend.
