New Ambassadors Present Credentials to Belize Governor General

Aside from the Guatemalan Ambassador, there were two others who presented their letters of credence to the Governor General Her Excellency Dame Froyla Tzalam.  His Excellency Agostinho de Carvalho dos Santos Van-Dúnem of Angola, and Her Excellency Ragnhild Imerslund of Norway both met with the Governor General at the Belize House yesterday.  Belize also had a courtesy visit from Her Excellency Sonya Koppe, High Commissioner of Australia to Belize. The dignitaries expressed their honour to serve in Belize as representatives of their respective countries. They each shared the hope of their countries in strengthening bilateral relationships with Belize. Dame Froyla graciously welcomed the ambassadors and wished them well during their tenure in Belize.  The ambassadors and the high commissioner will be in the country to join in the occasion of Belize’s independence.
