In a recent press conference, Prime Minister Dean Barrow announced that among the changes made to his Cabinet, he would be handing the Lands Department and its ministry to Attorney General, Vanessa Retreage. Retreage has not been a public figure and has yet to speak on what she brings to the table in the Lands Department. So, with that in mind, we asked her the question.
“I can assure the public that I will work hard and diligently I have always done that in whatever I do and that is what I expect to continue. The no nonsense approach applies for me throughout whether it’s private practice, public sector and so I intend precisely as I am doing now.”
The official handing over is yet to be had as Retreage is yet to be sworn in as a Senator to take over the ministerial portfolio.
