Newly Elected Mayor of Belmopan Begins Work at City Hall

Mayor Pablo Cawich was duly elected to office last Wednesday.  By Friday, Cawich began his work by familiarizing himself with City Hall in Belmopan.  Cawich spoke with Love News explaining how he is getting his feet wet with his new posting.

Pablo Cawich, Belmopan Mayor: “Well the visit at City Hall happened before the swearing in since Thursday I’ve been making visits or I have been in office getting different types of updates. Yesterday I managed to get the official overview of the entire council via a handing over from the present or acting city administrator so that has been going very good. Today we are scheduled to continue discussions primarily with finances.”
