NFSS Engages Southern Belize Students in Forensic Science Outreach

Personnel from the National Forensic Science Service (NFSS) were in southern Belize today as a part of its public outreach and awareness campaign.  The group made various presentations with an aim to educate students on the role of the forensic services, the path toward a career in forensics, as well as the educational requirements.  The team visited with students of Toledo Community College as the school hosts a career fair.  In related news, there is a lecture happening at the 15th International Educational Conference on Forensic Sciences.  The conference is taking place in El Salvador at the Francisco Gavidia University.  Love News understands that Belize currently has representation at the event which is being sponsored by the US Government.
