
Norman Usher Gets UDP Nomination for Dangriga Constituency

The United Democratic Party held a contested convention on Sunday in the Dangriga Constituency. Norman Usher went head to head with Richard Webster and after officials counted 662 ballots, Usher was the victor. Usher received 427 votes while Webster received 228 votes. 7 votes were spoiled. Usher told Love News that now the work begins.
Norman Usher, UDP Standard Bearer, Dangriga: “If you notice it’s the show of unit and it’s a win for all the UDPs in Dangriga and for Dangriga. Now the work begins to unite, continue the unity and forward with the UDP to bring victory to the 2025 when the next election is coming.”

Norman Usher, UDP Standard Bearer, Dangriga: “I have vehicles, I have my campaigners that have been working for weeks and just have a well oiled machine to bring them out.”

Norman Usher, UDP Standard Bearer, Dangriga: “They chose me because they believed in me and they know the kind of person I am and I’m true to my word and I will do the right thing.”
Harry Arzu, Stann Creek Correspondent: What is one thing you’re gonna do for the Dangriga people ?
Norman Usher, UDP Standard Bearer, Dangriga: “First thing I’ll do is work hard. If I work hard on everything that I do for them and bring the people back together and we’ll have victory.”
