One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars Reward for Information on Hubert Richards

A reward of one thousand five hundred dollars is being offered for information leading to the return of 83-year-old Hubert Richards. The family is holding on to hope that he will be found alive. This afternoon, the family held a press briefing to plead with the public for help.

Kenesha Richards

“The family of Mr. Hubert Gilbert Richards is here again to make another plea to the public to assist us in our struggle in trying to find him. We don’t necessarily enjoy being on TV or hearing our own voices but we feel like we need to do this to just remind the public on a regular basis of our grandfather’s disappearance. It’s going to make two weeks tomorrow that he has been missing and so like I said I am just here to make an extra plea to the public. We don’t know where else to turn, where else to search but still, we go over the same areas that we have searched numerous times. For instance Orange walk we went to Orange walk eight different times and so the hope is still there to find him so even if we have to go there one hundred times we will be out there searching for our grandfather. Looking at this situation it makes us realize that we need something more in terms of search and rescue. We need these reports to be relayed to all police departments because apparently the report was only circulated within that jurisdiction which is Belize.”

Tomorrow will mark two weeks since he went missing. Richards is of dark complexion, slim built and has a low haircut.  He was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, black pants and a pair of black tennis.  If anyone knows the whereabouts of Hubert Richards please contact the nearest police station or call 203-4784 or 625-3838.
