Orange Walk Town Honors Belize’s First Premiere and Prime Minister, George Cadle Price, with Special Ceremony and Exhibition

A special ceremony was held yesterday in Orange Walk Town in honour of the Right Honourable George Cadle Price.  Back in 2021, January 15 was dubbed a public and bank holiday, to celebrate the birthday of Belize’s first Premiere and first Prime Minister.  As part of the agenda yesterday, the Let Belize Live Exhibition was installed to the Banquitas House of Culture where images, past speeches and the life of Price were placed on display.  Prior to the opening of the exhibition, several addresses were delivered, all depicting the respect and love for the Father of the Nation.  We join News Director, Renee Trujillo, for that story.
