Orange Walk’s Phillip Alvarez Park to Undergo Significant Infrastructure Upgrade

Prime Minister John Briceno and the Orange Walk Town Council have partnered with the Belize Tourism Board to rehabilitate the Phillip Alvarez Park. The public space, which is located in the Union Town Area of Orange Walk, will undergo a significant upgrade to its infrastructure. Today, a groundbreaking ceremony was held to launch the project. PM Briceno explained that the endeavor’s goal is to provide a safe space for families to recreate and spend quality time.

Orange Walk Mayor, Ladrick Sheppard, also spoke about the importance of providing the community with an area where its youth can relax and engage in meaningful sporting activities.
